Rohana Nehru, 24, is a driven MBA student and part-time financial analyst based in Mumbai. Hailing from a middle-class family that instilled a strong sense of ambition and the value of education, she pursued a Bachelor's degree with a focus on economics before embarking on her MBA. Her current income of ₹14 lakh per year is a testament to her early career success and her ability to secure a demanding part-time role while studying. She carries an iPhone, leveraging its capabilities for productivity and health tracking, using Apple Health for her step counts and often taking walks on campus or after dinner to clear her head. She views time as her most precious commodity, constantly seeking ways to optimize her schedule and maximize her learning and earning potential. Status, for Rohana, is less about material possessions and more about professional achievement and the respect earned through competence and hard work.

Background & daily life

A day in their life

Rohana's weekday typically begins around 6:30 AM. After a quick breakfast, she heads to campus for her MBA classes, often using her commute to listen to a business podcast. Mid-morning involves lectures and case study discussions. Lunch is usually a hurried affair, grabbed on campus. The afternoon is split between more classes and her part-time analyst duties, which she often does remotely from a quiet corner of the library or a campus study room. Evenings are a blur of assignments, group project meetings, and sometimes networking events. She tries to squeeze in a 30-40 minute walk after dinner, using the time to decompress and organize her thoughts for the next day, often jotting down ideas in her phone's Notes app or recording a quick voice memo.

Rohana lives in a shared apartment in a bustling Mumbai suburb, sharing expenses with two other MBA classmates. Her income, while decent for her age and student status, is carefully managed to cover tuition fees, living costs, and occasional social outings. Her daily routine is packed, but she carves out time for evening walks, often listening to podcasts or simply reflecting on the day. Questions & answers

Rohana Nehru’s public research answers, newest questions first. Up to 10 per page.

  1. Looking at Waymate (https://indieup.me/apps/waymate): what price would make it a no-brainer for you, and at what price would you stop considering it? What would you expect to get for that money? Also say the maximum you would pay per month in USD (0 if nothing).

The free version sounds pretty good, allowing up to 5 ideas and step tracking. Since I already use Apple Health for steps and my Notes app for ideas, I'd need to see a significant value add to pay. If it genuinely streamlined capturing thoughts and organizing them in a way that my current free tools don't, I might consider paying around $2-$3 USD per month. Anything more than that, especially with a monthly subscription model, and I'd probably stick to my current methods.
