“The real challenge isn't creating content; it's making sure it lands effectively and demonstrably moves the needle for the client, all without dropping the ball on the operational side.”

Dawid Gajewski, 31, is a highly organized and ambitious account manager at a small digital agency in Warsaw. Holding a Master's degree in Marketing, he's spent the last four years honing his skills in client management and social media strategy. His current role is demanding; he oversees the social publishing efforts for eight distinct client accounts, a task that involves meticulous content calendar management, navigating client approval workflows, and synthesizing performance data across various social platforms. The agency's current tech stack is a patchwork – a competitor's scheduling tool, extensive Excel spreadsheets for tracking, and shared cloud storage for assets. This fragmented approach means Dawid frequently spends valuable time manually consolidating information and ensuring consistency, a process he finds increasingly inefficient. He's driven by a strong desire for efficiency and accountability, constantly seeking ways to streamline operations and deliver measurable results for his clients. His career ambition is clear: to climb the ladder, ideally into a senior management role where he can influence strategy and implement more sophisticated marketing technologies. He's particularly interested in automation and AI's potential to revolutionize campaign management. Dawid lives with his partner in a modern apartment, balancing his demanding career with personal interests like competitive esports and staying physically active. He's financially prudent, saving diligently for future investments, and views his work not just as a job, but as a stepping stone towards greater professional achievement and impact. He recently pushed back on a client request for a highly complex, custom reporting dashboard, arguing instead for a phased approach focusing on integrating existing data sources more effectively first, a decision that highlighted his pragmatic, results-oriented mindset.

Background & daily life

A day in their life

Dawid's weekday starts around 7:00 AM with a quick check of urgent client notifications before preparing coffee and a light breakfast. He commutes to the agency by tram, listening to a marketing podcast. His workday is packed: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM is dedicated to client calls, content review, and drafting social copy. Lunch is usually a quick affair at his desk while scanning industry news. The afternoon involves deep dives into performance analytics, updating content calendars, coordinating with his team on campaign execution, and troubleshooting any platform issues. He often stays until 6:30 PM, ensuring all tasks are squared away before heading home for dinner and some downtime, which might include an hour of esports.

Lifestyle

Dawid shares a modern two-bedroom apartment in Warsaw's Mokotów district with his partner, an architect. Their evenings are a mix of cooking together, catching up on shows, or occasionally meeting friends for drinks. Weekends often involve a long run in Łazienki Park, diving into competitive esports matches online, or exploring new cafes. He's conscious of his finances, aiming to save for a down payment on a property, and prioritizes experiences over excessive material possessions. He values his downtime but is always mentally scanning for ways to optimize his routines.

Work life

As an account manager at a lean digital agency, Dawid is the central hub for eight diverse client accounts. His days are a constant juggle of content calendar planning, chasing client approvals, and compiling performance reports. The agency relies on a mix of tools: a competitor's scheduling platform for basic posting, extensive spreadsheets for tracking, and shared drives for asset management. This fragmented system often leads to manual data entry and cross-referencing, which he finds frustrating. He's under pressure to demonstrate ROI to clients while keeping his small team efficient and clients happy.

Relationships

Dawid is in a stable, long-term relationship with his partner, who provides a grounding influence. His core friend group consists of university mates, many of whom are also in demanding professional roles. He maintains a cordial but professional relationship with his three agency colleagues, respecting their individual expertise. His parents, living in a smaller town, are proud of his career but don't fully grasp the nuances of digital marketing.

How they decide

Dawid is primarily a research-driven decision-maker, especially for work-related tools. He meticulously compares features, reads reviews, and seeks out case studies. He values logical arguments and quantifiable benefits. While he appreciates peer recommendations, he ultimately relies on his own analysis to ensure a choice aligns with his efficiency and accountability values. He’s not impulsive but will act decisively once convinced by data.

How they sound

Speaks with a clear, measured tone, often using precise marketing terminology. He avoids overly casual slang but isn't stiffly formal. His cadence can quicken when discussing complex data or efficient processes. He tends to frame things in terms of optimization and results. He's unlikely to use hyperbole or overly emotional language, preferring factual statements.

Questions & answers

Dawid Gajewski’s public research answers, newest questions first. Up to 10 per page.

  1. What do you use today instead of Turrboo (https://turrboo.com/) (a competitor, a spreadsheet, doing it by hand)? Compared with that, what would make Turrboo better or worse for you, and what would keep you on your current option? Also say the maximum you would pay per month in USD (0 if nothing).

Currently, we use a competitor's tool, but it's really a combination of that, spreadsheets for tracking, and shared drives for assets. The main draw for Turrboo would be consolidating all of that into one place, especially the analytics and scheduling. The efficiency gains would be significant, saving us from manual data aggregation. Compared to our current fragmented system, Turrboo's unified platform and AI capabilities could be a huge improvement. What's unclear is the pricing structure beyond the "Free Social Media Management Tool" claim, especially for agency use. If it offers robust features and analytics that genuinely streamline our workflow, I'd consider paying around $100 per month, but that depends heavily on the actual features and scalability.
