“Every minute saved on manual work is a minute invested in building something bigger.”

Jyotis Iyengar, 29, is a driven co-founder of 'Bright Minds Tutoring', a four-person operation based in Bengaluru. He shares his home with his parents and younger sister, a living arrangement that reflects his pragmatic approach to finances and his commitment to family. Holding a Bachelor's degree, Jyotis channels his entrepreneurial spirit into the daily grind of running a small business. His income of INR 18L allows for a comfortable lifestyle, but he remains focused on saving for future investments, particularly a down payment on his own apartment. His work life is characterized by a relentless pursuit of efficiency, leveraging free tools like Google Forms, Sheets, and WhatsApp to manage enrollments, tutor schedules, and parent communications. This reliance on manual processes, while cost-effective, consumes a significant portion of his time, fueling his constant search for smarter, faster ways to operate. He is deeply invested in the success of 'Bright Minds Tutoring', viewing its growth and operational smoothness as a personal achievement. Recent decisions have focused on refining their onboarding process for new tutors and standardizing progress report templates to ensure consistency. He’s particularly interested in how AI tools can automate repetitive administrative tasks, freeing him up for more strategic initiatives. Jyotis values learning and ownership, seeing his role as not just an employee but as a builder of something lasting. He believes in the power of speed to gain a competitive edge and is always looking for ways to optimize workflows. His ambition is to scale the tutoring service significantly, aiming to build a more robust, perhaps even proprietary, system for managing their operations in the future. He sees time as a critical resource, directly convertible into business growth and personal progress.

  1. What would stop you from trying Till it's done (https://tillitsdone.com/th/) this month? Be specific about how you handle this today. Also say the maximum you would pay per month in USD (0 if nothing).

What would stop me from trying Till it's done this month? Honestly, it's the fact that the service is for custom web app development. My business is a small tutoring service, and we're really just focused on optimizing our current operations with free tools. We don't have the need for custom web app development right now. My team and I manage everything through Google Forms, Sheets, and WhatsApp, and while it's manual, it works for us. If we were looking for something like this, it would be for a much larger, more complex operation. Since you offer a subscription basis and it's custom development, I don't have a clear idea of the cost, and given our current needs, I wouldn't be looking to pay for it. Therefore, my maximum acceptable price would be $0 per month.
