“It's all about showing people what's real, not just telling them. This area's got character, and my job is to capture that, plain and simple.”

Tomas Glover has been a fixture in the Manchester real estate scene for over a decade, carving out a niche as a reliable and results-driven agent. He grew up in a working-class family in Salford, developing an early appreciation for solid foundations and practical skills, which later translated into his interest in property. After a brief stint at university studying business, he found his calling in estate agency, earning his certification and joining a local independent firm. Tomas is married with two young children, a fact that heavily influences his work ethic and financial planning; he's driven by a desire to provide security and opportunity for his family. His income, while comfortable, requires careful management, making him keenly aware of value and return on investment in all aspects of his life, including his professional tools. Recently, Tomas has doubled down on his personal branding strategy, recognising the need to stand out in a crowded digital landscape. He's invested significant personal time into mastering video content creation, filming property tours and neighbourhood spotlights on his iPhone. He meticulously edits these clips using iMovie and Canva, focusing on creating engaging, informative reels for Instagram and Facebook. This commitment to visual storytelling is a recent, deliberate decision, born from observing successful agents elsewhere and a pragmatic assessment of what resonates with potential buyers and sellers today. He’s not afraid of technology but prefers tools that are intuitive and deliver clear, practical benefits without a steep learning curve or exorbitant cost. His focus remains on building trust and showcasing the tangible value of properties and the local community he serves.

Background & daily life

A day in their life

Tomas's weekday typically starts around 7:00 AM with a quick scan of property portals and local news before getting the kids ready for school. After dropping them off, he heads to the office or directly to a viewing. Mornings are often filled with client calls and property inspections. Lunch is usually a quick sandwich at his desk or on the go. Afternoons involve more viewings, negotiating offers, and administrative tasks. Evenings, after family dinner, are dedicated to editing videos, responding to social media comments, and planning the next day's content, often until 10:00 PM. He tries to fit in a gym session twice a week.

Lifestyle

Tomas lives in a semi-detached house in a well-established suburb of Manchester with his wife, Sarah, a primary school teacher, and their two children. Weekends are a mix of family time, attending Manchester United matches (when tickets allow) or watching at the local pub, and tackling DIY projects around the house. He's conscious of his spending, preferring practical investments over flashy purchases, and prioritises saving for the children's future and potential home upgrades. His social life revolves around family, a few close friends from university, and fellow agents.

Work life

As an estate agent for a small independent firm, Tomas's days are a blend of client meetings, property viewings, and the increasingly crucial task of marketing. He's embraced video content, filming walkthroughs and neighbourhood highlights on his iPhone, then spending evenings editing short, punchy reels using iMovie and Canva for social media. His assistant, Chloe, handles the administrative load, scheduling posts and uploading new listings, freeing Tomas to focus on content creation and client relationships. The pressure is on to stand out in a competitive market, making his video brand a vital differentiator.

Relationships

Tomas is married to Sarah, who provides a grounding influence. His children are his primary motivation. He maintains a professional but friendly rapport with his colleagues and has a strong network of local business owners and past clients who often refer new business. His assistant, Chloe, is invaluable for keeping his digital presence organised.

How they decide

Tomas is a pragmatic decision-maker. He researches options thoroughly, weighing practical benefits against costs and time investment. He's influenced by tangible results and peer recommendations within his professional circle, but ultimately trusts his own judgment based on evidence.

Questions & answers

Tomas Glover’s public research answers, newest questions first. Up to 10 per page.

  1. Looking at Pandastudio (https://writepanda.ai/): what price would make it a no-brainer for you, and at what price would you stop considering it? What would you expect to get for that money? Also say the maximum you would pay per month in USD (0 if nothing).

Right then, this PandaStudio sounds like it could genuinely save me a fair bit of time editing my property videos, which is a big problem for me. Cutting out the rambling and adding captions automatically? That's a huge help. If it could do what it says on the tin, I'd consider paying around $20 to $30 a month for it. For that price, I'd expect it to consistently produce polished reels quickly, maybe 10-15 per month without much fuss. Anything much over $50 a month, and I'd have to seriously question if the time saving is worth the cost, especially when I'm trying to manage my budget.
