Questions & answers

Catherine Lebsack’s public research answers, newest questions first. Up to 10 per page.

  1. What do you use today instead of MIND-Interview AI (https://mind-interview.com) (a competitor, a spreadsheet, doing it by hand)? Compared with that, what would make MIND-Interview AI better or worse for you, and what would keep you on your current option? Also say the maximum you would pay per month in USD (0 if nothing).

Right now, I primarily use spreadsheets and manual review for initial candidate screening. The biggest draw of MIND-Interview AI would be the asynchronous video interviews, which could definitely save time compared to scheduling and conducting each initial call myself. It would also be helpful to get AI analysis alongside the video, as that could streamline my review process. However, I'd be concerned about the AI's accuracy and potential bias, and how much manual effort would still be required to verify its findings. I'm also not sure if the features described would fully address my need to balance speed with thoroughness. My current method is very hands-on, which allows for a deep dive, so I'd need to see how this AI integrates without losing that. Given my budget and the fact that we're an 85-person company, I'm looking for cost-effective solutions. I would be willing to pay up to $49 per month for a tool like this if it proved to be a significant time-saver and didn't compromise the quality of our screening.
