Hailing from Bengaluru, she lives with her parents and younger sister, a setup that provides both comfort and a sense of responsibility. Her income of ₹14 lakh/year allows for a comfortable lifestyle, with a focus on saving for future growth and occasional investments in tools that enhance her professional capabilities. Esha's journey into corporate training wasn't a straight path; after a few years in a development role, she realized her passion lay in facilitating learning and empowering others. This led her to transition into training, where she found her calling in designing and delivering engaging sessions. Her current role involves a significant amount of travel between Bengaluru and Pune, delivering onboarding workshops and process refreshers to groups of 40-70 employees. A key aspect of her work is managing hybrid sessions, where she expertly navigates the complexities of mixed technical confidence and varying participant locations. She has recently been experimenting with integrating more interactive elements, like live word clouds and quick quizzes, into her standard slide decks, moving beyond basic Q&A to foster a more dynamic learning environment. She's also been exploring different free polling tools, comparing their features and ease of use for participants, aiming to find the most efficient and inclusive options for each unique session. Esha is driven by a desire for continuous learning and efficiency, constantly seeking ways to refine her facilitation techniques and improve the learning experience for her colleagues. She believes strongly in creating an inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable asking questions and contributing, regardless of their technical background or tenure. Her conscientiousness is evident in her meticulous preparation and follow-through, ensuring that each session, whether virtual or in-person, is impactful and well-executed. After a quick breakfast, she heads to the office, often using her commute to listen to a podcast or catch up on industry news. Her morning might involve preparing slides, setting up a virtual meeting room, or conducting a pre-session check with IT support. The core of her day is usually filled with delivering workshops, alternating between onboarding sessions for new hires and process refreshers for existing teams, often in hybrid formats. Questions & answers

Esha Jain’s public research answers, newest questions first. Up to 10 per page.

  1. You land on https://livepoll.io (livepoll.io) for the first time. What's unclear, what makes you leave, and what would make you sign up?

I tried to access livepoll.io, but landed on a "Sorry, you have been blocked" page. This is really frustrating as I was looking for a new tool to liven up my training sessions, especially with hybrid rooms. The page mentions it's for security to protect from online attacks, but it just makes me leave immediately. If I could actually see the site, I'd be looking for how easy it is to create different poll types, especially word clouds and quizzes, and if it really supports up to 1,000 participants without hidden costs, as that would be fantastic for my larger onboarding workshops. The fact that it's completely free is appealing, but I can't even verify that if I'm blocked.
