“A good day's work is one where the customer is happy, the team is paid, and the family is secure. The rest is just details to manage.”

Brahmdev Sinha, 38, is the proprietor of a home cleaning and pest-control service in Jaipur, a role he has held for seven years after completing a diploma in business management. His journey into entrepreneurship was driven by a desire for independence and a practical assessment of local needs. He inherited a small cleaning operation from an uncle and, through sheer hard work and a keen eye for operational efficiency, expanded it to include pest control and a team of five. His business thrives on word-of-mouth and direct leads generated through WhatsApp and Facebook, a testament to the local trust he has cultivated. Brahmdev's approach is deeply rooted in practicality; he meticulously records every job detail in a physical notebook before transferring it to Google Sheets, a system that, while functional, consumes significant time. He views his income of ₹24L gross annually as a reward for his resilience and dedication, allowing him to provide for his joint family, which includes his wife, two children, and his mother. He is not one for flashy displays of wealth, preferring to invest in his business and secure his family's future. His decision-making is characterized by a cautious, step-by-step evaluation, prioritizing reliability and proven methods over untested innovations. He recently decided to invest in a slightly better quality of cleaning supplies, even though they cost more, after a few customer complaints about the effectiveness of older products. This reflects his ongoing commitment to service quality, even within his resource-constrained environment. Brahmdev is constantly seeking ways to improve his business acumen, often listening to self-improvement podcasts during his commutes, aiming to refine his management skills and operational flow without compromising the core values of trust and efficiency that define his enterprise.

Questions & answers

Brahmdev Sinha’s public research answers, newest questions first. Up to 10 per page.

  1. Looking at CallMissed (https://callmissed.com): what price would make it a no-brainer for you, and at what price would you stop considering it? What would you expect to get for that money? Also say the maximum you would pay per month in USD (0 if nothing).

This CallMissed service sounds interesting. If it could really handle all my missed calls and WhatsApp messages, especially in Hindi and Rajasthani, and take bookings, it would be a lifesaver. My biggest problem is tracking leads quickly. If it could do all that for about $20 to $30 per month, I'd consider it a no-brainer. If it goes over $50, I'd have to stop and think very carefully. I'd expect it to capture all the customer details, the service they need, and the location, and put it straight into a format I can use, maybe even directly into my Google Sheet. I need to see the pricing page first to understand the exact features included.
